Fund-A-Need
Since its inception the Fund-A-Need portion of our auction has raised over $34,000 to bless our students and staff with funds needed for a special project at the school. This year's designated project is replacing twenty-five (25) of the outdated PCs in our secondary computer lab with brand new Dell computers. Most schools replace their entire computer lab every one (1) to two (2) years, but our secondary computer lab equipment is nearly six (6) years old. We will also be replacing the larger old style CRT monitors with flat panel displays, providing more working desk space. Current tables are not conducive for a computer lab, including issues with the way the PCs sit on the floor and the way cabling is run, so new tables specifically designed for a computer lab will allow for a better learning environment with the latest technology.
Keeping our kids up to speed with technology is a very good thing and these new computers will help us to do so.
